Yes. We offer trade discounts to architects and interior designers. A tax identification number or resale certificate is required to obtain trade pricing. Please email trade@wudfurniture.com to join our trade program. 

Lead time begins from receipt of deposit. Our average lead time is ten to fourteen weeks, depending on the time of year and the scope of a particular project. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional fee. 

Everything is designed and built in our Brooklyn facility, which houses our wood, metal, and resin shops as well as our showroom.

Wüd offers a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship from the delivery date. Wud reserves the right to repair or replace defects at its sole discretion. This limited warranty does not extend to damage caused by shipping, accident, normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or cleaning. This warranty applies to the original buyer only and is not transferable. 

While we do not offer returns or exchanges due to the custom nature of our work, please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery with any shipping or manufacturing issues. 

Yes. You can order samples of all our metal + resin surfaces, as well as individual metal and wood finishes. Please keep in mind, however, that our samples only represent a portion of the finish and do not represent the final thickness. All finishes are made by hand and will have some variation. Also note that our samples only show a finished edge on one side, but all completed pieces will have finished edges on all sides. To keep your samples in optimal condition, please treat them with care.

All of our samples are finished and cut individually by hand. We encourage you to experience the details of our materials up close, by selecting one of our kits or creating your own custom combination.

For wood surfaces, gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. For further cleaning, a slightly damp, soft cloth can be used. For a deeper clean, a mild solution of vinegar and water can be applied with a soft cloth. Do not use commercial or abrasive cleaning products on wooden surfaces.

For metal surfaces, apply a little mild countertop spray on a soft cloth and then wipe and clean the surface. 

For metal and resin surfaces, apply windex or any mild countertop spray to the surface and then use a soft cloth to wipe and clean. For light surface scratches, apply a drop of mineral oil to the scratch and then use a soft cloth to wipe the oil away. Then spray the surface with mild countertop spray and wipe the surface with soft dry cloth. 

Do not use any abrasive or acidic household cleaning products. 

For the best maintenance of the product, it is best to protect it against sunlight, heat and sharp objects that might scratch.

We do not recommend using our furniture in an outdoor capacity.

All of the wood we use is sustainable and FSC certified, and we offer a full line of water-based acrylic finishes. The epoxy resin is non-toxic and does not off-gas so there are no VOCs.

We use a two-part epoxy resin that is non-toxic and non-porous, making it resistant to stains from spilled liquids or sweating glasses of water. The resin also has UV protection, making it a great choice for indoor spaces that receive sunlight (although it is not recommended for outdoor use). It is also resistant to heat and scratching, although anything abrasive can damage the surface.

If scratches do occur, pour lemon oil (or any like oil) on top for about 5 minutes, then wipe it off and use a glass cleaner to reduce the appearance of a scratch. If deeper scratches occur, such as from a knife cut, the resin can be buffed out on site. We can provide a repair kit and tutorial, or we can send a technician if the job is in the New York City metro area.

Yes. The resin has a class A fire rating. We fabricate our material by affixing the metal to standard MDF and then casting it in the epoxy resin. If required, we can use a fire-rated MDF instead of a standard MDF to ensure that it passes all fire testing.

For wall panels, we create a one-sided panel with metal and resin on the face and edges, and an aluminum skin on the back. The standard thickness is between ⅞” and 1.” The maximum thickness is 3.” The maximum size for each wall panel is 48” x 120.” This material is fabricated to exact specifications/dimensions, and the material cannot be altered in the field. As a result, we do very careful site surveys and templating. Our typical installation is done using z-clips.

We can customize surfaces to any size. For countertops, we add seams to increase the length and width. But if you prefer no seams, each metal has slightly different size constraints, as listed here:

Copper: 48″ x 120” 

Steel: 60” x 120” 

Zinc: 52” x 180” 

Bronze: 48” x 120” 

Aluminum: 72” x 144”
